Career

Josh's career began as a child when his mother took him to dance lessons. At first, he says he sat out of the first month of school because he was afraid to get up and try to do anything. During his time in dance schools, he says it was a very difficult and lonely time because he suffered a lot of bullying and exclusion from his colleagues. After all, people expected him to play hockey, like every Canadian kid and said that dancing was a sport dominated only by women.

Now United

Josh was contacted to travel to Los Angeles for Now United auditions. He narrowly missed the project, because just like Noah Urrea, he had signed up to represent the United States, his mother's country, thus competing with one of the best friends he made in the boot camp held in California. However, when the project's creator, Simon Fuller learned that Josh was actually Canadian, like his father, he decided to put him in the group to represent his country of origin.
